‘Eye level views of Bornean bristlehead, dusky broadbill and whiskered treeswift, both philentomas, chestnut necklaced partridge, argus, 4 pygmy white eyes (30 m from this book), Chinese Goshawk, black-throated babbler and a blue-headed pitta. However best of all was a one-hour spell yesterday morning where I had a fantastic view of a Giant Pitta down to 7m, soon followed by similar views of Blue-banded Pitta at about 18m. Top whistling by Wangs.’

‘Truly an excellent place- Stephen an impressive guide. Highlights were Bornean Bristlehead, a Gould’s Frogmouth and Argus Pheasant. About 45 bird species seen in 3 days (plus animals of course).’
