Nepenthes Camp was the first permanent camp established
inside Maliau Basin and located strategically at the
meeting point of lower montane forest and the rare
montane heath forest on Maliau's southern plateau.
Nepenthes Camp is a two-storey building, equipped with
bunk beds, toilet / shower and solar electricity, can
accommodate up to 15 visitors. Constructed by
Camel Trophy participants in 1993.
