Borneo Nature Tours will be offering a new and exciting
4WD tour filled with educational and cultural experiences.
In the course of this exciting tour, we will collaborate
with designated local schools in the remote areas where
we offer our guests the opportunity to interact with our
local people and intricate with charitable community projects
as part of the tour.
The journey will take you to the interiors of Sabah passing
through low-level rivers, bailey or rudimentary make shift
bridges and on secondary gravel roads through local villages
while enjoying the ever-changing view of the local landscape.
The 4WD experience covers easy to medium core terrain and
the weather really plays a part in determining the level
of difficulty. The journey may be delayed due to landslides,
large fallen trees or over flooded rivers. Our vehicles
are well equipped for off road adventure.
We will begin our community service project upon reaching
the designated school. Books, stationeries, school uniforms
or other basic school requirements will be presented to
the school children. The school children will present a
local dance and song in appreciation of the goodwill showered
on them.
These tours are suitable for people of all ages and of average
fitness - not necessarily the hardened sportsperson!
Our adventure tours provide the intimacy of small groups
combined with the opportunity to stay off the beaten track
to see the landscape and experience the local hospitality.
A maximum of 3 passengers per vehicle is recommended – each
with an experienced driver. Our guests will enjoy the ultimate
pleasure and adventurous holiday all under the watchful
eye of our knowledgeable and professional guide.
As this is a Community Programme, we shall only cover our
costs and the remaining portion from this Tour will go towards
the identified charitable group.
Where possible, we will undertake additional programmes
aiming at providing positive outcomes in other areas as
part of our commitment in giving back to the community.
By adding value to our interaction with the communities,
we seek to contribute real benefits to them and improve
the relationships between them and the tourist industry.
